This turned out to be a fabulous walk, completely organized, great views and the best weather ever! The crew were all great and very supportive. We had volunteers that kept moving along the route all day and it was like seeing a friend when you got to them. We walked through neighborhoods where people came out, decorated their homes and held up signs. The people of Long Beach were the most supportive I have seen.......thanks to you all

I totally agree, this was my first time walking with Amy"s Army and what an experience!!!!! i truly have to say that what kept me going was those people cheering us on, the wonderful crew and volunteers. I have to say that Thanks and Glory be to our Lord who made this possible for me cause im a soldier for Jesus Christ. Thanks everyone in Amys Army you are all wonderful.

I was part of the avon mini walks team and I am so very greatful for their support during this walk. I was truly touched by all the people cheering, holding signs and telling us ( the walkers ) that you can do it. When I wanted to give up, someone told me that I could do it, it made me keep going further. I have already signed up for 2007. Thank you all.

This was my fist walk, too. I signed up alone, but ended up meeting two great women. I hope we walk again together. The whole organization was amazing, from the stops to the pup tents. I still can't believe the neighborhoods giving out lemonade and cookies. Long Beach was beautiful. Thank you Avon Foundation for changing me and making me a better person for my survivor mom.
